마태복음 17:14-27 [개역개정]

14 그들이 무리에게 이르매 한 사람이 예수께 와서 꿇어 엎드려 이르되

15 주여 내 아들을 불쌍히 여기소서 그가 간질로 심히 고생하여 자주 불에도 넘어지며 물에도 넘어지는지라

16 내가 주의 제자들에게 데리고 왔으나 능히 고치지 못하더이다

17 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 믿음이 없고 패역한 세대여 내가 얼마나 너희와 함께 있으며 얼마나 너희에게 참으리요 그를 이리로 데려오라 하시니라

18 이에 예수께서 꾸짖으시니 귀신이 나가고 아이가 그 때부터 나으니라

19 이 때에 제자들이 조용히 예수께 나아와 이르되 우리는 어찌하여 쫓아내지 못하였나이까

20 이르시되 너희 믿음이 작은 까닭이니라 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 너희에게 믿음이 겨자씨 한 알 만큼만 있어도 이 산을 명하여 여기서 저기로 옮겨지라 하면 옮겨질 것이요 또 너희가 못할 것이 없으리라

22 갈릴리에 모일 때에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 인자가 장차 사람들의 손에 넘겨져

23 죽임을 당하고 제삼일에 살아나리라 하시니 제자들이 매우 근심하더라

24 가버나움에 이르니 반 세겔 받는 자들이 베드로에게 나아와 이르되 너의 선생은 반 세겔을 내지 아니하느냐

25 이르되 내신다 하고 집에 들어가니 예수께서 먼저 이르시되 시몬아 네 생각은 어떠하냐 세상 임금들이 누구에게 관세와 국세를 받느냐 자기 아들에게냐 타인에게냐

26 베드로가 이르되 타인에게니이다 예수께서 이르시되 그렇다면 아들들은 세를 면하리라

27 그러나 우리가 그들이 실족하지 않게 하기 위하여 네가 바다에 가서 낚시를 던져 먼저 오르는 고기를 가져 입을 열면 돈 한 세겔을 얻을 것이니 가져다가 나와 너를 위하여 주라 하시니라

Matthew 17:14-27 [NIV]

14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him.

15 ‘Lord, have mercy on my son,’ he said. ‘He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.

16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.’

17 ‘You unbelieving and perverse generation,’ Jesus replied, ‘how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.’

18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, ‘Why couldn’t we drive it out?’

20-21 He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’

22 When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, ‘The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.

23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.’ And the disciples were filled with grief.

24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, ‘Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?’

25 ‘Yes, he does,’ he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. ‘What do you think, Simon?’ he asked. ‘From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes – from their own children or from others?’

26 ‘From others,’ Peter answered. ‘Then the children are exempt,’ Jesus said to him.

27 ‘But so that we may not cause offence, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.’

14 Und als sie zu dem Volk kamen, trat ein Mensch zu ihm, kniete vor ihm nieder

15 und sprach: Herr, erbarme dich über meinen Sohn! Denn er ist mondsüchtig und hat schwer zu leiden; er fällt oft ins Feuer und oft ins Wasser;

16 und ich habe ihn zu deinen Jüngern gebracht und sie konnten ihm nicht helfen.

17 Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: O du ungläubiges und verkehrtes Geschlecht, wie lange soll ich bei euch sein? Wie lange soll ich euch ertragen? Bringt ihn mir her!

18 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn; und der Dämon fuhr aus von ihm, und der Knabe wurde gesund zu derselben Stunde.

19 Da traten die Jünger zu Jesus, als sie allein waren, und sprachen: Warum konnten wir ihn nicht austreiben?

20-21 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Wegen eures Kleinglaubens. Denn wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben habt wie ein Senfkorn, so könnt ihr sagen zu diesem Berge: Heb dich dorthin!, so wird er sich heben; und euch wird nichts unmöglich sein.

22 Als sie in Galiläa zusammen waren, sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Der Menschensohn wird überantwortet werden in die Hände der Menschen

23 und sie werden ihn töten, und am dritten Tag wird er auferstehen. Und sie wurden sehr betrübt.

24 Als sie nun nach Kapernaum kamen, traten zu Petrus, die den Tempelgroschen einnehmen, und sprachen: Zahlt euer Meister nicht den Tempelgroschen?

25 Er sprach: Ja. Und als er in das Haus kam, kam ihm Jesus zuvor und sprach: Was meinst du, Simon? Von wem nehmen die Könige auf Erden Zoll oder Steuern: von ihren Kindern oder von den Fremden?

26 Da sprach zu ihm Petrus: Von den Fremden. Jesus sprach zu ihm: So sind die Kinder frei.

27 Damit wir ihnen aber keinen Anstoß geben, geh hin an das Meer und wirf die Angel aus, und den ersten Fisch, der heraufkommt, den nimm; und wenn du sein Maul aufmachst, wirst du ein Zweigroschenstück finden; das nimm und gib’s ihnen für mich und dich.
