그 다음날 또 다시 본문을 읽고, 삶을 살면서, 

말씀이 삶에 공명하는 부분을 

발견하실 수 있기를 소망합니다.

마태복음 20:17-28 [개역개정]

17 예수께서 예루살렘으로 올라가려 하실 때에 열두 제자를 따로 데리시고 길에서 이르시되

18 보라 우리가 예루살렘으로 올라가노니 인자가 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 넘겨지매 그들이 죽이기로 결의하고

19 이방인들에게 넘겨 주어 그를 조롱하며 채찍질하며 십자가에 못 박게 할 것이나 제삼일에 살아나리라

20 그 때에 세베대의 아들의 어머니가 그 아들들을 데리고 예수께 와서 절하며 무엇을 구하니

21 예수께서 이르시되 무엇을 원하느냐 이르되 나의 이 두 아들을 주의 나라에서 하나는 주의 우편에, 하나는 주의 좌편에 앉게 명하소서

22 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 너희는 너희가 구하는 것을 알지 못하는도다 내가 마시려는 잔을 너희가 마실 수 있느냐 그들이 말하되 할 수 있나이다

23 이르시되 너희가 과연 내 잔을 마시려니와 내 좌우편에 앉는 것은 내가 주는 것이 아니라 내 아버지께서 누구를 위하여 예비하셨든지 그들이 얻을 것이니라

24 열 제자가 듣고 그 두 형제에 대하여 분히 여기거늘

25 예수께서 제자들을 불러다가 이르시되 이방인의 집권자들이 그들을 임의로 주관하고 그 고관들이 그들에게 권세를 부리는 줄을 너희가 알거니와

26 너희 중에는 그렇지 않아야 하나니 너희 중에 누구든지 크고자 하는 자는 너희를 섬기는 자가 되고

27 너희 중에 누구든지 으뜸이 되고자 하는 자는 너희의 종이 되어야 하리라

28 인자가 온 것은 섬김을 받으려 함이 아니라 도리어 섬기려 하고 자기 목숨을 많은 사람의 대속물로 주려 함이니라

Matthew 20:17-28 [NIV]

17 Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them,

18 ‘We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death

19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!’

20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favour of him.

21 ‘What is it you want?’ he asked. She said, ‘Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.’

22 ‘You don’t know what you are asking,’ Jesus said to them. ‘Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?’ ‘We can,’ they answered.

23 Jesus said to them, ‘You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.’

24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers.

25 Jesus called them together and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.

26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave –

28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’

17 Und Jesus zog hinauf nach Jerusalem und nahm die zwölf Jünger beiseite und sprach zu ihnen auf dem Wege:

18 Siehe, wir ziehen hinauf nach Jerusalem, und der Menschensohn wird den Hohenpriestern und Schriftgelehrten überantwortet werden; und sie werden ihn zum Tode verurteilen

19 und werden ihn den Heiden überantworten, damit sie ihn verspotten und geißeln und kreuzigen; und am dritten Tage wird er auferstehen.

20 Da trat zu ihm die Mutter der Söhne des Zebedäus mit ihren Söhnen, fiel vor ihm nieder und wollte ihn um etwas bitten.

21 Und er sprach zu ihr: Was willst du? Sie sprach zu ihm: Lass diese meine beiden Söhne sitzen in deinem Reich, einen zu deiner Rechten und den andern zu deiner Linken.

22 Aber Jesus antwortete und sprach: Ihr wisst nicht, was ihr bittet. Könnt ihr den Kelch trinken, den ich trinken werde? Sie sprachen zu ihm: Ja, das können wir.

23 Er sprach zu ihnen: Meinen Kelch werdet ihr zwar trinken, aber das Sitzen zu meiner Rechten und Linken zu geben steht mir nicht zu. Das wird denen zuteil, für die es bestimmt ist von meinem Vater.

24 Als das die Zehn hörten, wurden sie unwillig über die zwei Brüder.

25 Aber Jesus rief sie zu sich und sprach: Ihr wisst, dass die Herrscher ihre Völker niederhalten und die Mächtigen ihnen Gewalt antun.

26 So soll es nicht sein unter euch; sondern wer unter euch groß sein will, der sei euer Diener;

27 und wer unter euch der Erste sein will, der sei euer Knecht,

28 so wie der Menschensohn nicht gekommen ist, dass er sich dienen lasse, sondern dass er diene und gebe sein Leben als Lösegeld für viele.
