마태복음 5:27-37 [개역개정]

27 또 간음하지 말라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나

28 나는 너희에게 이르노니 음욕을 품고 여자를 보는 자마다 마음에 이미 간음하였느니라

29 만일 네 오른 눈이 너로 실족하게 하거든 빼어 내버리라 네 백체 중 하나가 없어지고 온 몸이 지옥에 던져지지 않는 것이 유익하며

30 또한 만일 네 오른손이 너로 실족하게 하거든 찍어 내버리라 네 백체 중 하나가 없어지고 온 몸이 지옥에 던져지지 않는 것이 유익하니라

31 또 일렀으되 누구든지 아내를 버리려거든 이혼 증서를 줄 것이라 하였으나

32 나는 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 음행한 이유 없이 아내를 버리면 이는 그로 간음하게 함이요 또 누구든지 버림받은 여자에게 장가드는 자도 간음함이니라

33 또 옛 사람에게 말한 바 헛 맹세를 하지 말고 네 맹세한 것을 주께 지키라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나

34 나는 너희에게 이르노니 도무지 맹세하지 말지니 하늘로도 하지 말라 이는 하나님의 보좌임이요

35 땅으로도 하지 말라 이는 하나님의 발등상임이요 예루살렘으로도 하지 말라 이는 큰 임금의 성임이요

36 네 머리로도 하지 말라 이는 네가 한 터럭도 희고 검게 할 수 없음이라

37 오직 너희 말은 옳다 옳다, 아니라 아니라 하라 이에서 지나는 것은 악으로부터 나느니라

27 ‘You have heard that it was said, “You shall not commit adultery.”

28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

31 ‘It has been said, “Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.”

32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

33 ‘Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, “Do not break your oath, but fulfil to the Lord the oaths you have made.”

34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne;

35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.

36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.

37 All you need to say is simply “Yes,” or “No”; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

27 Ihr habt gehört, dass gesagt ist: »Du sollst nicht ehebrechen.«

28 Ich aber sage euch: Wer eine Frau ansieht, sie zu begehren, der hat schon mit ihr die Ehe gebrochen in seinem Herzen.

29 Wenn dich aber dein rechtes Auge verführt, so reiß es aus und wirf’s von dir. Es ist besser für dich, dass eins deiner Glieder verderbe und nicht der ganze Leib in die Hölle geworfen werde.

30 Wenn dich deine rechte Hand verführt, so hau sie ab und wirf sie von dir. Es ist besser für dich, dass eins deiner Glieder verderbe und nicht der ganze Leib in die Hölle fahre.

31 Es ist auch gesagt: »Wer sich von seiner Frau scheidet, der soll ihr einen Scheidebrief geben.«

32 Ich aber sage euch: Wer sich von seiner Frau scheidet, es sei denn wegen Unzucht, der macht, dass sie die Ehe bricht; und wer eine Geschiedene heiratet, der bricht die Ehe.

33 Ihr habt weiter gehört, dass zu den Alten gesagt ist: »Du sollst keinen falschen Eid schwören und sollst dem Herrn deine Eide halten.«

34 Ich aber sage euch, dass ihr überhaupt nicht schwören sollt, weder bei dem Himmel, denn er ist Gottes Thron;

35 noch bei der Erde, denn sie ist der Schemel seiner Füße; noch bei Jerusalem, denn sie ist die Stadt des großen Königs.

36 Auch sollst du nicht bei deinem Haupt schwören; denn du vermagst nicht ein einziges Haar weiß oder schwarz zu machen.

37 Eure Rede aber sei: Ja, ja; nein, nein. Was darüber ist, das ist vom Bösen.
