마태복음 1:1-17 [개역개정]
1 아브라함과 다윗의 자손 예수 그리스도의 계보라
2 아브라함이 이삭을 낳고 이삭은 야곱을 낳고 야곱은 유다와 그의 형제들을 낳고
3 유다는 다말에게서 베레스와 세라를 낳고 베레스는 헤스론을 낳고 헤스론은 람을 낳고
4 람은 아미나답을 낳고 아미나답은 나손을 낳고 나손은 살몬을 낳고
5 살몬은 라합에게서 보아스를 낳고 보아스는 룻에게서 오벳을 낳고 오벳은 이새를 낳고
6 이새는 다윗 왕을 낳으니라
다윗은 우리야의 아내에게서 솔로몬을 낳고
7 솔로몬은 르호보암을 낳고 르호보암은 아비야를 낳고 아비야는 아사를 낳고
8 아사는 여호사밧을 낳고 여호사밧은 요람을 낳고 요람은 웃시야를 낳고
9 웃시야는 요담을 낳고 요담은 아하스를 낳고 아하스는 히스기야를 낳고
10 히스기야는 므낫세를 낳고 므낫세는 아몬을 낳고 아몬은 요시야를 낳고
11 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 갈 때에 요시야는 여고냐와 그의 형제들을 낳으니라
12 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 간 후에 여고냐는 스알디엘을 낳고 스알디엘은 스룹바벨을 낳고
13 스룹바벨은 아비훗을 낳고 아비훗은 엘리아김을 낳고 엘리아김은 아소르를 낳고
14 아소르는 사독을 낳고 사독은 아킴을 낳고 아킴은 엘리웃을 낳고
15 엘리웃은 엘르아살을 낳고 엘르아살은 맛단을 낳고 맛단은 야곱을 낳고
16 야곱은 마리아의 남편 요셉을 낳았으니 마리아에게서 그리스도라 칭하는 예수가 나시니라
17 그런즉 모든 대 수가 아브라함부터 다윗까지 열네 대요 다윗부터 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 갈 때까지 열네 대요 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 간 후부터 그리스도까지 열네 대더라

1 This is the written story of the family line of Jesus the Messiah. He is the son of David. He is also the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham was the father of Isaac. Isaac was the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Judah and his brothers.
3 Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah. Tamar was their mother. Perez was the father of Hezron. Hezron was the father of Ram.
4 Ram was the father of Amminadab. Amminadab was the father of Nahshon. Nahshon was the father of Salmon.
5 Salmon was the father of Boaz. Rahab was Boaz’s mother. Boaz was the father of Obed. Ruth was Obed’s mother. Obed was the father of Jesse.
6 And Jesse was the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon. Solomon’s mother had been Uriah’s wife.
7 Solomon was the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam was the father of Abijah. Abijah was the father of Asa.
8 Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat was the father of Jehoram. Jehoram was the father of Uzziah.
9 Uzziah was the father of Jotham. Jotham was the father of Ahaz. Ahaz was the father of Hezekiah.
10 Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh. Manasseh was the father of Amon. Amon was the father of Josiah.
11 And Josiah was the father of Jeconiah and his brothers. At that time, the Jewish people were forced to go away to Babylon.
12 After this, the family line continued. Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel was the father of Zerubbabel.
13 Zerubbabel was the father of Abihud. Abihud was the father of Eliakim. Eliakim was the father of Azor.
14 Azor was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Akim. Akim was the father of Elihud.
15 Elihud was the father of Eleazar. Eleazar was the father of Matthan. Matthan was the father of Jacob.
16 Jacob was the father of Joseph. Joseph was the husband of Mary. And Mary was the mother of Jesus, who is called the Messiah.
17 So there were 14 generations from Abraham to David. There were 14 from David until the Jewish people were forced to go away to Babylon. And there were 14 from that time to the Messiah.

8 Asa war der Vater von Joschaphat. Joschaphat war der Vater von Joram. Joram war der Vater von Usija.
9 Usija war der Vater von Jotam. Jotam war der Vater von Ahas. Ahas war der Vater von Hiskia.
10 Hiskia war der Vater von Manasse. Manasse war der Vater von Amon. Amon war der Vater von Josia.
11 Josia war der Vater von Jojachin und seinen Brüdern (die in der Zeit des babylonischen Exils geboren wurden).
12 Nach dem babylonischen Exil: Jojachin war der Vater von Schealtiël. Schealtiël war der Vater von Serubbabel.
13 Serubbabel war der Vater von Abihud. Abihud war der Vater von Eljakim. Eljakim war der Vater von Asor.
14 Asor war der Vater von Zadok. Zadok war der Vater von Achim. Achim war der Vater von Eliud.
15 Eliud war der Vater von Eleasar. Eleasar war der Vater von Mattan. Mattan war der Vater von Jakob.
16 Jakob war der Vater von Josef, dem Ehemann Marias. Maria war die Mutter von Jesus, der Christus genannt wird.
17 Von Abraham bis König David sind es insgesamt vierzehn Generationen, von David bis zum babylonischen Exil wiederum vierzehn, und noch einmal vierzehn Generationen nach dem babylonischen Exil bis zu Christus.
