마태복음 24:32-51 [개역개정]

32 무화과나무의 비유를 배우라 그 가지가 연하여지고 잎사귀를 내면 여름이 가까운 줄을 아나니

33 이와 같이 너희도 이 모든 일을 보거든 인자가 가까이 곧 문 앞에 이른 줄 알라

34 내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 이 일이 다 일어나리라

35 천지는 없어질지언정 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라

36 그러나 그 날과 그 때는 아무도 모르나니 하늘의 천사들도, 아들도 모르고 오직 아버지만 아시느니라

37 노아의 때와 같이 인자의 임함도 그러하리라

38 홍수 전에 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가 들고 시집 가고 있으면서

39 홍수가 나서 그들을 다 멸하기까지 깨닫지 못하였으니 인자의 임함도 이와 같으리라

40 그 때에 두 사람이 밭에 있으매 한 사람은 데려가고 한 사람은 버려둠을 당할 것이요

41 두 여자가 맷돌질을 하고 있으매 한 사람은 데려가고 한 사람은 버려둠을 당할 것이니라

42 그러므로 깨어 있으라 어느 날에 너희 주가 임할는지 너희가 알지 못함이니라

43 너희도 아는 바니 만일 집 주인이 도둑이 어느 시각에 올 줄을 알았더라면 깨어 있어 그 집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라

44 이러므로 너희도 준비하고 있으라 생각하지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라

45 충성되고 지혜 있는 종이 되어 주인에게 그 집 사람들을 맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나눠 줄 자가 누구냐

46 주인이 올 때에 그 종이 이렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종이 복이 있으리로다

47 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 그의 모든 소유를 그에게 맡기리라

48 만일 그 악한 종이 마음에 생각하기를 주인이 더디 오리라 하여

49 동료들을 때리며 술친구들과 더불어 먹고 마시게 되면

50 생각하지 않은 날 알지 못하는 시각에 그 종의 주인이 이르러

51 엄히 때리고 외식하는 자가 받는 벌에 처하리니 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈리라

Matthew 24:32-51 [NIV]

32 ‘Now learn this lesson from the fig-tree: as soon as its twigs become tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.

33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.

34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

36 ‘But about that day or hour no-one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;

39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.

41 Two women will be grinding with a hand-mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 ‘Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

43 But understand this: if the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45 ‘Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?

46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, “My master is staying away a long time,”

49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.

50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.

51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

32 An dem Feigenbaum lernt ein Gleichnis: Wenn seine Zweige jetzt saftig werden und Blätter treiben, so wisst ihr, dass der Sommer nahe ist.

33 Ebenso auch: Wenn ihr das alles seht, so wisst, dass er nahe vor der Tür ist.

34 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Dieses Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis dies alles geschieht.

35 Himmel und Erde werden vergehen; aber meine Worte werden nicht vergehen.

36 Von dem Tage aber und von der Stunde weiß niemand, auch die Engel im Himmel nicht, auch der Sohn nicht, sondern allein der Vater.

37 Denn wie es in den Tagen Noahs war, so wird es sein beim Kommen des Menschensohns.

38 Denn wie sie waren in den Tagen vor der Sintflut – sie aßen, sie tranken, sie heirateten und ließen heiraten bis an den Tag, an dem Noah in die Arche hineinging;

39 und sie beachteten es nicht, bis die Sintflut kam und raffte sie alle dahin –, so wird es auch sein beim Kommen des Menschensohns.

40 Dann werden zwei auf dem Felde sein; der eine wird angenommen, der andere wird preisgegeben.

41 Zwei Frauen werden mahlen mit der Mühle; die eine wird angenommen, die andere wird preisgegeben.

42 Darum wachet; denn ihr wisst nicht, an welchem Tag euer Herr kommt.

43 Das sollt ihr aber wissen: Wenn ein Hausherr wüsste, zu welcher Stunde in der Nacht der Dieb kommt, so würde er ja wachen und nicht in sein Haus einbrechen lassen.

44 Darum seid auch ihr bereit! Denn der Menschensohn kommt zu einer Stunde, da ihr’s nicht meint.

45 Wer ist nun der treue und kluge Knecht, den der Herr über sein Gesinde gesetzt hat, dass er ihnen zur rechten Zeit Speise gebe?

46 Selig ist der Knecht, den sein Herr, wenn er kommt, das tun sieht.

47 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Er wird ihn über alle seine Güter setzen.

48 Wenn aber der böse Knecht in seinem Herzen sagt: Mein Herr kommt noch lange nicht,

49 und fängt an, seine Mitknechte zu schlagen, isst und trinkt mit den Betrunkenen,

50 dann wird der Herr dieses Knechts kommen an einem Tage, an dem er’s nicht erwartet, und zu einer Stunde, die er nicht kennt,

51 und er wird ihn in Stücke hauen lassen und ihm seinen Platz geben bei den Heuchlern; da wird sein Heulen und Zähneklappern.
